We have so many memories about Sea World since the older child was a little one. His best friends, whose parents are Thai and also our best friends, live close to SeaWorld. We had season passes for a few years. When the weather was nice, we met up with them at Seaworld. We also went there to trick-o-treat for 2 years.
When Mutti, my mom-in-law, was still coming to see us during Christmas, we also took her to see lights and shows. She passed away from cancer in 2017.
We never got to do everything in one day. If we wanted to see the shows, enjoy the rides, check out animal exhibits, and spend time at the playground, it was impossible to fit in a day. The kids always wanted to stop at the playground and stayed there forever.
We loved all the shows at Seaworld. My favorite one was “Believe” presented by Shamu and their trainers. They had the show during Christmas in the past, but not in 2018. I have watched this show a few times and cried every time. I think because I always think if we believe, anything is possible.
The Sesame Street show has always been the kid’s favorite, especially when they came down the stage to dance with us.
Sesame Street Bay of Play is the best area for Small children. It’s almost 3 acres. The kids loved climbing up and down and running around everywhere. I always let my husband follow the kids around because he could climb up and down without getting dizzy. Once in a while, they took a break from running and went to take rides near by. The kids’ Carousel is the only ride I can handle by not getting too dizzy. During hot weather, they open “Little Bird Splash” for the kids to beat the heat and enjoy the splash from a bunch of fountains.
Animal experiences are good to teach kids to be loving and kind. Dolphins, Sea Lions, Penguins, beluga whales, and Sharks are their main exhibits. We haven’t had an animal encounter yet, but now that older child is 7 and a good swimmer, I think he will be ready to swim with the Dolphins.
